Elena is an Iyengar Yogi who has a passion for living her yoga. She is also a Touch for health practioner in Kinesiology, and her passion for yoga keeps her working with a wellness studio in Russia.

I completed my Iyengar Yoga Level 1 teacher training in 2025, and have been teaching since 2021 as a teacher trainee.

My journey with Iyengar Yoga began in 2006. It took some time before I fully immersed myself in this profound method of cultivating awareness in both body and mind. What initially kept me coming back to class was the steady improvement I felt in my body’s movement, overall health, and ability to concentrate. Over time, I began to appreciate the deeper layers of practice: listening to my body, improving alignment, and finding balance in my nervous system, mind, and overall well-being. These moments of connection and clarity are truly precious to me.

I love sharing the Iyengar method and helping others experience yoga as a unique tool for developing awareness, inner stability, and health. As a teacher, I value integrating asana and pranayama practice, guiding students to develop awareness of the connection between physical movement, breath, and inner stillness.

And above all, I am a mother to three beautiful children, who inspire and motivate me every day.

“I was in LA and started doing Kundalini Yoga classes. It is powerful stuff and a great workout.  I also went to Auckland with Arvinderfee she’s great too.”
