Kundalini Yoga & Shakti Dance

Shakti Dance

Kundalini yoga to make deeper changes.

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that has repetitive poses to make way for a better expanded energy. It also has singing, breathing exercises, and uses mantra (repetitive sounds to aid meditation).

What does Yoga from the Kundalini tradition do for me?

If  you are feeling like you are standing at a junction and you are not sure which way to turn? Do you feel like you are full of all this potential but not sure where to start? Do you feel like you’re missing something? Would you like to more fully step into all you were born to be?
If so, this could be the perfect course for you.
Arvinderfee will tell you.

“My first class was all it needed to create the switch from yoga student to teacher. Kundalini yoga has within it dynamic movement and breath work producing changes that support the nervous system.

For those who like the results of yoga but have fast paced minds or find they are sensative to their surroundings. Kundalini yoga meditation, breath and movements are really effective.

After the seperation from the foundations set by Yogi Bhajan, I believe there is much to hold onto that has been formed and taught by teachers within the last 4 decades”.

The tradition of Kundalini yoga has evolved to take in meditation and techniques gathered and reminded by through America and around the world.

Meditation doesn’t have a skill level? So many people think meditation is a state when in fact it is a practice. It is normal for mediation to incorporate a jumble of emotion and thoughts with moments of clarity. Meditations in Kundalini yoga contain specific, practical tools that carefully and precisely support the mind and guide the body through the use of breath, manta, Audra and focus.

Kundalini yoga create a place to maintain the body so that it is better prepared for deeper meditation and was used by Sikhs. The effects of a deeper meditation are good for a stronger and more neutral mind space.

Kundalini Yoga is suitable for all.

Courses and Gong workshops are added to our timetable please enquire if you don’t see one coming up.

“A lovely way to start the new week. The best stretching – the props make such a difference – and your instructions were spot on. Thanks, looking forward to the next one.”

“I came for the Shakti Yoga and Dance class today. I didn’t know what to expect and I’m so glad I came! I was very tired going into it and came out energised and my body more fluid and flexible. I experienced so much joy in my body, and also some wonderful peacefulness. Arvinderfee gave clear and calm directions and held the space so well. Her singing voice at the end was so beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the shakti yoga and dance, and the friendly group during and after. Thank you so much Arvinderfee!”

Shakti Dance is the yoga of dance.

One of the things that have drawn me back into my Shakti Dance practice is the dedication, inspiration, organic movement and pranic healing, that has come from exploration after injury. One of the most unexpected outcomes was how much Bhakti there has been for me on coming back to this practice of yoga.

Shakti Dance is the yoga of dance that takes us through seven modules leading to meditation with a mantra. Shakti Dance is the yoga of dance and a sister to Kundalini Yoga by Yogi Bhajan. Never tried dance and yoga with meditation before? Then you’re in for a treat.

Are you feeling like you are standing at a junction and you are not sure which way to turn? Do you feel like you are full of all this potential but not sure where to start? Do you feel like you’re missing something? Would you like to more fully step into all you were born to be?

Shakti Dance is here to stimulate the pranic life force within us, we connect to the vibration of the cosmos that we are and we bring forward the clarity and presence needed to move forwards with ease and grace. It’s in unlocking our cellular memories that we heal the past and remember our reason for BE-ing. It’s in releasing and letting go that we can fully step into each moment and manifest our wildest dreams.
